THE NEW WORK FORMAT IN A PANDEMIC CONDITION
A week before the announcement in Russia of a pandemic associated with the spread of COVID-19, CJSC Enterprise “Special Technologies” produced and successfully conducted internal tests of the bench SPTE 1-1.
The equipment was developed by the construction department of the enterprise according to the customer requirements. The bench combines a clamping unit with a built-in pumping station. This type of equipment is designed for a wide range of valves for hydro- and pneumatic testing for a pressure range from 0.6 up to 16.0 MPa and a valve diameter from 10 up to 150 mm.
The test bench SPTE 1-1 has convenient dimensions, which allows to operate it a small production area. The bench is equipped with a pneumatic actuator for sealing, a high pressure source, a line for the pneumatic testing, a set of interchangeable equipment for testing the valves of various connection types, a pneumatic gun for cleaning and drying the valves and the surface of the bench after testing.
The bench is a multipurposed product and can be used in various industries, where various type valves are operated.
The bench was designed and manufactured under an export agreement with Belarus.
In relation to the borders closure, the acceptance tests of the bench took place in an unusual format for the company - a videoconference. Customers gave a positive opinion to acceptance procedure results. The bench was successfully sent to the operating organization.
